The capital of Spain, found in the guts of the cape and right in the middle of the Castillian plain 646 meters above sea level, has a population of over 3,000,000. A sophisticated town, a business center, HQ for the general public Administration, Administration , Spanish Parliament and the home of the Spanish Royals, Madrid also plays a big part in both the banking and economic sectors. The majority of its industry is found in the Southern fringe of the town, where important textile, food and metal working factories are clustered.
